    National Audit

  • International and invited guests at the recent Australian ePortfolio Symposium not only showcased ePortfolio perspectives but also emphasised the pedagogical progression of ePortfolio practice. Whether the context of ePortfolio is as a student or life-long learner, feedback and general comments from delegates highlighted a sway in delegate perceptions of ePortfolios – as QUT's Wendy Harper noted “it's the process, not the tool”.

  • Focus Groups

National focus groups undertaken by AeP in the past months indicate that employers, while keen to understand the benefits of ePortfolio use, still see the ePortfolio as a complex entity, "if an ePortfolio is in one format nationally then there is value in the product but if it is customised or individualised then the process of examination becomes time-consuming".
