Australian ePortfolio Project (AeP2)
The Australian Learning and Teaching Council has granted funding to the Australian ePortfolio Project team to undertake Stage 2 of the project in order to ensure a sustainable future for the foundation work undertaken in 2007-2008. This continuing project work is referred to as AeP2.
The AeP2 project aims to
- Establish, facilitate and encourage an Australian Community of Practice for ePortfolio researchers and practitioners, and to
- Introduce a regular Australian conference to provide a forum in which to explore and discuss ePortfolio research and practice
These aims directly address Recommendations 8 and 9 of the AeP Final Report
The project seeks to build on the work undertaken in the Australian ePortfolio Project by enhancing the use of ePortfolios in Australian universities to benefit individual students, the quality of learning and the value of higher education outcomes, thereby contributing to the competiveness of Australian graduates in a global employment market. The project will provide an opportunity to further develop the relationships already established with stakeholders across the school, vocational, business and professional sectors, as well as with international ePortfolio communities.<\p>
