Project Leader - Associate Professor Gillian Hallam

Since mid 2007, A/Prof Gillian Hallam has been the Project Leader for the Australian ePortfolio Project, which has culminated in the release of the Final Report for the project.  A/Prof Hallam has maintained her professional involvement in the library and information services (LIS) sector, nationally and internationally, specifically in the area of education and training.  One of A/Prof Hallam’s areas of specialisation is Professional Practice, with a deep interest in the e-portfolio as a tool to support students’ development of and reflection on professional skills and knowledge. A/Prof Hallam has been a member of the QUT Student ePortfolio (SeP) reference group and has played a pivotal role in the piloting of the SeP system with postgraduate students.  She is a Fellow of ALIA and HERDSA.

Ms Wendy Harper
Ms Wendy Harper is Associate Director of Teaching and Learning Support Services Resources at QUT.  Ms Harper has more than 20 years experience in the tertiary sector covering learning and teaching systems, IT infrastructure, project management, and systems development.  She has been a driving force in the development of QUT’s Student ePortfolio and Professional Staff ePortfolio.  Ms Harper's work in the field of ePortfolios has acquired international standing and she has been invited to speak both nationally and internationally in government, tertiary secondary forums.  Ms Harper is the Higher Education representative on the E-Portfolios – Managing Learner Information Reference Group of the Australian Flexible Learning Framework.

Ms Kim Hauville
Ms Kim Hauville is the ePortfolio Service and Project Manager at QUT.  Ms Hauville has been involved with ePortfolio at QUT since its inception in 2003 and has worked directly with staff and students using ePortfolio since this time.  Ms Hauville has a background in psychology, 9 years experience in Information Technology contexts, and six years experience in the Higher Education Sector covering project management, infrastructure management, systems development and quality standards.

Ms Lynn McAllister
Ms McAllister is currently Senior Project Officer with the QUT ePortfolio Program. Her areas of interest are evidence based practice and eLearning design, in particular, development and support of the ePortfolio to enhance students’ learning outcomes.  Ms McAllister has been at QUT since 2003 and has worked on numerous projects as well as in the Library. Her approach to professional practice has been recognised through a nomination for the 2007 QUT Vice-Chancellor’s Excellence Award for professional staff. She has academic qualifications spanning librarianship and education.

Ms Bergita Shannon
Is currently the Service Manager - QUT Blackboard Support for the Teaching and Learning Support Services at QUT. She is interested in learning technologies and open source technologies for education, as well as teaching space development. Her academic background is Business Administration and Education. Ms Shannon was involved in the organisation of multiple national and international conferences in Brisbane and overseas over the past 10 years.
